Concrete Blonde "Still In Hollywood" (REPOST)
NOTE: as a general rule I do not post any major label CD's, but I'm pretty sure this one has long been delete (a shame really) as I bought it in a clear out bin for $4.99 a few years back.
For some reason I was thinking about this one the other day. I always get a good laugh when I hear "Chew You Up and Spit You Out" which is basically the song "Still in Hollywood" but "features drummer Harry Rushakoff (impersonating a relative of his) signing off asking questions about the validity of fulfilling the dream of stardom". This bit breaks me up every time, as it does the rest of the band here too.
The rest is an "odds & sodds" type collection - demos, aternative and live versions. Also includes a great cover of Cheap Trick's "Mandocello".
These are mp3's @ 192K
